The thing is I have relaxed hair I'm trying to strengthen, and I've had braids in the past while my hair was still permed but my hair was much better back then. I think it all depends on your hair thickness and your stylist (make sure its not done too tight). for me it makes my hair grow and really protects it but because my scalp get really dry i really have to make sure i keep it moisturized. plus i have thick hair so it doesnt damage my hair. if your hair is really thin then i won't recommend it, also to avoid damage dont keep it in for more that 2-3 months tops! hope that helps :0) thanks, i used synthetic hair.
